We have invested in a 26’000 sq. ft state-of-the-art seafood processing facility aptly named NovoPro. Our facility layout combined with top-of-the-line processing equipment has been carefully and thoughtfully designed to focus on high degrees of velocity, accuracy, and flexibility, while always maintaining food and personnel safety. This positions NovoPro at the forefront of producing high-quality, safe seafood within the US making us capable of quickly adapting to specific market needs and trends.

At NovoPro, we produce a wide variety of fresh, frozen, and value-added products packaged with the latest technology. This bandwidth allows us to supply multiple segments of the market such as retail, foodservice and direct to consumer, all to a high volume and level of consistency.

CAPABILITIES

NovoPro will carry out pin-boning & fillet trimming in addition to using a top tier QC laser scanner which can detect colors, defects, and weight. We also have the capability to carry out portioning, vacuum packing, skin packing, freezing, glazing and customized labelling. The facility will have a total processing capacity of over 40 million pounds annually, and quick-freezing capacity of 50’000 pounds per day with the use of the latest spiral freezing equipment. Spiral freezing technology not only enables accelerated freezing times and increased velocity, but also guarantees to lock in and maintain the freshness and quality of the product at the time of freezing.
